We worked with the French company GEFI SAS to upgrade their float switches to the latest range provided by Delta Mobrey. The result was that their powerplant realised improved efficiencies, their costs were reduced, and they were able to benefit from the ability to ‘Fit & Forget’.

Used in the steam condensate circuit, a skid with vacuum pumps creates a vacuum inside the cabin (pictured) in order to increase the efficiency of the powerplant.

CHALLENGE

GEFI had an original horizontal float switch provided by Delta Mobrey, which had been working for many years, however upon recent maintenance it was discovered this float switch – part of the M-Switch range was discontinued in 2018 and with no more spare parts GEFI needed an alternative.

SOLUTION

We provided GEFI with a new stainless steel wetside switch, which although slightly larger than the original M-Switch instrument, met the customer’s requirements due to the Mobrey A flange process connection and the wetted parts.
