We have been a trusted partner to the UK Defence industry since 1947, consistently providing bespoke products that are both robust and dependable. With a strong commitment to quality, we design and manufacture solutions tailored to meet the unique requirements of our clients, ensuring the highest standards of performance and reliability. Our collaborative approach, working closely with both clients and suppliers, is fundamental to the mutual success we achieve.

Process Instrumentation in the Defence Sector

We focus on developing advanced technologies that ensure the precision, reliability, and safety of systems critical to defence operations. This includes designing specialised sensors, monitoring devices, and control systems used in weapons systems, naval vessels, and military vehicles.

The emphasis is on creating highly accurate, durable, and resilient instrumentation capable of performing under extreme conditions, such as harsh environmental environments, high vibrations, and electromagnetic interference.

We ensure that our products undergo rigorous testing and calibration, thereby assuring the suitability and reliability of customer project requirements.

Alongside this, compliance to Cybersecurity is vital to protect our networks and customer data. As an organisation we take proactive steps to manage and maintain our customers data, thereby giving you confidence in our capability and your security.

Sample of Our Products

h a full range of transmitters, switches, gauges and level measurement capability, designed to withstand the challenging conditions of the defence industry. In addition, we also specialise in developing bespoke solutions.

Below is an example of some of our products in our portfolio include:

MPT40 Series

The AC signal provided by the differential transformer is amplified within the transmitter, demodulated, and finally converted into a DC voltage and current signals for transmission to indication, control, data logging or computer equipment.

1000 CT Series

Differential Pressure Sensor used in conjunction with an MPT40 series is manufactured to MOD(N) standards in materials compatible with a marine environment.

Gas Flow

Designed for general purpose and engine blow-by flow measurement. Providing exceptional efficiency and cost effective means to monitor gas flow.

8931 Transmitter

This transmitter is specifically designed to calculate the flow of fluids for both surface vessels and boats. Manufactured to meet MOD(N) standards for operation in a marine environment.

Gaskets & Consumables

The longevity of all our products is best maintained with regular service health checks. As such we provide a series of gaskets and consumables to keep the integrity of our products up to standard.

And more – ask us about how our process instrumentation can help you measure and control pressure, flow, level and temperature accurately.

Bespoke Solutions

Beyond our comprehensive product range, we specialise in developing bespoke products to meet the specific requirements of our customers. We pride ourselves on being able to provide our customers with the best set of options to overcome their process challenges, delivering deliver reliable, robust and cost-effective instrumentation, with high-quality customer service.

Service

Our service engineers in the defence instrumentation sector play a crucial role in maintaining the operational readiness of essential systems used by military forces.

Specialising in the maintenance, calibration, and repair of sophisticated instrumentation and equipment both onshore land facilities and mobile weapons platforms, covering instrumentation such as differential pressure systems, fuel tank measurement, flow rates of cooling systems on nuclear reactors, ballast tank volume and content measurement and the transmitters used in the communication from the instrument to the management system in the control room.

These Service Engineers perform troubleshooting and repairs onsite and in specialised maintenance facilities, ensuring that all systems function reliably during missions. Our expertise helps minimise downtime and ensures that military forces can conduct their operations safely and effectively, even in the most challenging conditions.

Additionally, our Service Engineers offer onsite training of our equipment to service personnel to ensure the highest level of technical transfer, ensuring they have the confidence and ability to execute troubleshooting and repairs during missions and patrols.

Offering standard service, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, health checks and instrument integrity inspections. Our services are available at any location.
