Delta Mobrey confirms registration with China’s National Nuclear Safety Administration (NNSA) in accordance with HAF604 regulations.
The HAF604 certification is required for all equipment and components designed and manufactured outside of China and provided to the nuclear power industry in Class 1E applications. This typically involves testing for radiation exposure and seismic events; it may also include LOCA or HELB events.
To gain the certificate an organisation’s nuclear product or technology must be innovative, mature, and have proven superior operating performances in China. The new HAF604 certification for pressure and temperature switches further demonstrates our role and commitment to supporting the Civil nuclear build programmes in China, as well as the part we are playing to reduce carbon footprint around the world.
Being one of the most established global nuclear process instrumentation suppliers, we have supplied pressure, differential pressure, and temperature switches for a large number of nuclear power plants around the world.
This certificate now qualifies us to supply these switches to civil nuclear power plants currently in operation, under construction, or planned in the People’s Republic of China.
Our switches are designed and manufactured on the same established technology that has a long history of use inside and outside containment in applications ranging from HVAC and primary steam loop pressure relief systems, to rate of change of pressure and temperature measurement for Nuclear Steam Supply System (NSSS) leak detection.
