Delta Controls recently took part in Sino-UK Supply Chain Partnership Workshop hosted by China General Nuclear (CGN) held in Daya Bay on the 8th April 2016. The UK delegation was lead by Lee McDonough Director of Office of Nuclear Development, DECC, Catriona Knox, Commercial Counsellor, Head of Energy, UKTI China and supported by Paul Dootson UKTI London.
The UK Delegation consisted of representatives from UK-NAMRC, Rolls-Royce, AMEC Foster Wheeler, AVEVA, Lloyds Register and NNL.
The Opening Remarks for the workshop were delivered by Mr Zheng Dongshan, VP of CGN who welcomed the opportunity to explore partnerships with UK firms in the Chinese nuclear build programmes.
The Workshop and later One-to-One meetings explored the UK capability in manufacturing for the nuclear market in China, the UK and Globally.
Delta was represented by Dr Chris Webborn, Sales and Marketing Director and Chris Shan, Area Sales Manager for Delta in Beijing.
