Delta Controls achieves CU TR (EAC) product certification for the Customs Union
Delta Controls is pleased to announce the attainment of the new CU TR certifications for products from our Switch product portfolio.
Delta Controls, global specialists in the design and manufacture of temperature and pressure process control instrumentation have recently attained the new CU TR Certificate of Conformity for their switch product portfolio.
This certificate, which is mandatory for any electrical equipment that is going to be operated or installed in hazardous areas within the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, means that their products will obtain clearance at the Customs Union border.. The certification also confirms compliance to the new harmonised technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Community and fulfils all safety requirements.
All relevant Delta products supplied into the Customs Union will carry the EurAsian Conformity (EAC) mark to identify that these products conform to technical regulation 012/2011.
In addition to these Certificates, Delta Controls has also attained the Permit to Use which enables the newly certified products to be put to use in hazardous areas within Kazakhstan. Both the Permit to Use and the CU TR Certificates of Conformity can be downloaded here.
As well as this applying to the full Delta ranges of both Exd and Exia switch products provided direct into these countries, the certification means that companies supplying goods and systems into Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan that use Delta Controls products, will be covered by this new certification and fulfil any safety requirements for these components.
