In these unusual and worrying times, we would like to reassure you that the well-being of our customers and our staff is our highest priority. We are following all Government, WHO and NHS advice in our factories and sales offices regarding hygiene and travel procedures. The most rigorous standards of cleaning and hygiene are being applied daily, with regular updates and reminders going out to all our staff.
We are also in constant communication with members of our staff who have recently travelled abroad, are currently travelling or who have plans to do so. Any member of staff with symptoms or returning from any of the affected areas is required to follow their Government’s guidelines on self-isolation.
We will continue to follow developments and advice our staff accordingly, as well as take whatever action is required to keep our customers and our staff safe and well.
In summary, the steps we have taken so far:
- In our factories we’ve increased the frequency of our cleaning, paying particular attention to the surfaces that our staff touch most regularly
- We’ve added more hand sanitisers and reminders to colleagues how to maintain the highest hygiene standards
- We’re being extra cautious in terms of any staff signs of illness, isolating where necessary and going over and above the advice from government and the WHO. We’ve also put clear restrictions on business travel.
- Finally, we’re in constant contact with all relevant authorities to make sure that we continue to do everything we can to protect our staff
Please note, our factories and sales offices are open and working as normal, however, over the course of the next few weeks this may change.
