Designed for general purpose use in OEM equipment and industrial power applications alike, Sentry combines economy, quality and performance.

With a better than 1% set-point repeatability and a market leading 5 year warranty, Sentry offers real value.

Users also benefit from a unique hinged lid and single captive screw which provides quick and easy access to terminals and set-point adjustment. The inclusion of a safety vent also protects users by preventing the enclosure becoming pressurised in the event that the sensor is inadvertently damaged by excessive pressure.

131 Flow Switch – Performance Series

The 131 Flow Switch is suitable for setpoints between 2.5 m/s and 12.5 m/s, with a maximum flow rate up to 17.5 m/s. Its main application is to detect air flow in HVAC systems located in harsh environments and/or hazardous areas. The sensing element is a freely pivoted, counter-weighted vane which at it’s rest position lies at right angles to the direction of flow. The action of the flow is to pivot the vane and operate a microswitch via a dustproof seal. The sensing element is also available in noble materials to withstand NACE applications.

201 Pressure Switch – Performance Series

Initially designed in the mid-70s and developed over subsequent years. the Performance Series range of pressure switches offers the broadest range of options, the highest levels of set-point repeatability all combined with the long-term performance and confidence of a well-established product.

Performance Series models 201/202/203/281 utilise a bellows type sensor that offers a very linear response to pressure change. This sensor, coupled with a precision stainless steel mechanism, designed to minimise friction in the moving parts, helps deliver the market leading performance customers have come to expect from the series.

This range of pressure switches has been most successful in industries which may have corrosive atmospheres or need products that are resistant to chemical attack, such as the Oil and Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Power and Food.

The 201 Presure Switch is suitable for setpoints between -1bar and 75bar with maximum working pressures up to 100bar. Available in models 202, 203 and 281 (EAC certification is available on request).

207 Diaphragm Actuated Absolute Pressure Switch – Performance Series

The 700 Performance Series switch has a flexible thermal system and is suitable for setpoints between -50°C and 300°C with maximum working temperatures up to 310°C. it is ATEX and IECEx accredited with environment and hermetically sealed options available. S30 Differential Pressure Switch – Industrial Series

The Industrial Series switches were developed in the mid-1990’s to offer customers a robust range of switches suitable for applications where requirements were more standard than those for which the highly configurable Performance Series switches were designed.

Using diaphragm based sensors and a more traditional in-line force balance mechanism to transfer movement from the sensor to the microswitch, these switches are suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. Various international approvals make the Industrial Series suitable for use in both safe and Hazardous Areas in Europe, North America and throughout the world.

With the recent launch of the Sentry Series, these Industrial models are now recommended mainly for aftermarket applications where a like for like replacement is needed.
