301 Differential Pressure Switch – Performance Series

Diaphragm Seals for Pressure Instruments

The D-Series range of Diaphragm Seals are applicable only to D-Series products DPR-2000, DPR-2000G, DPR-2200 and DPC-2000.

The model S-P diaphragm seals have a flush diaphragm and are made from 316 stainless steel for a wide range of general applications.

The model S-Ch diaphragm seals have a flush diaphragm and are available in a range of exotic materials for corrosion resistance.

The model S-T diaphragm seals (see picture above) have an extended diaphragm are typically applied to measure the pressure or level of the media in a multi-walled tank.

The S-Mazut diaphragm seals is applicable to measurement of viscous liquids, at temperatures up to 150°C (300°C when remote diaphragm seal is used).

Differential Pressure Transmitter D31 – D-Series

The D31 SMART Differential Pressure Transmitters are suitable for measuring differential pressure of gases, vapours and liquids. The active sensing element is a piezoresistive silicon sensor separated from the medium by a diaphragm and by a specially selected type of manometric liquid. The special design of the active sensing element ensures that it is able to withstand pressure surges and overloads of up to 250/320/413 bar. The casing is made of cast aluminium alloy or 316 stainless steel with degree of protection IP66/IP67. The design of the casing enables the use of a local display, rotation of the display by 90°, rotation of the casing by 0–355° relative to the sensor, and a choice of cable direction.

ATEX certified for use in Zone 0/20 and Zone 1/21 Hazardous Areas and available with 316L, Hastelloy C 276 or Gold wetted parts materials, the D31 SMART Differential Pressure Transmitters are suitable for use in a wide range of applications whether for measuring differential pressure, level or flow.

When fitted with a direct diaphragm seal on the Hi side of the transmitter (image on left), the D31 can be used for measuring level in open tanks.

One unique feature of all models in the D-Series is the backlit LCD display which facilitates local monitoring in light deficient environments by enhancing display visibility (move your mouse cursor over the image below to illuminate display).

The D-Series can also be supplied with Delta’s user-friendly ‘D-Soft’ remote communication software. Using the HART communication protocol, this software provides users with a convenient way to calibrate, configure and monitor the instrument by connecting it to a PC via Delta’s USB/Bluetooth to HART converter.

S30 Differential Pressure Switch – Industrial Series

The Industrial Series switches were developed in the mid-1990’s to offer customers a robust range of switches suitable for applications where requirements were more standard than those for which the highly configurable Performance Series switches were designed.

Using diaphragm based sensors and a more traditional in-line force balance mechanism to transfer movement from the sensor to the microswitch, these switches are suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. Various international approvals make the Industrial Series suitable for use in both safe and Hazardous Areas in Europe, North America and throughout the world.

With the recent launch of the Sentry Series, these Industrial models are now recommended mainly for aftermarket applications where a like for like replacement is needed.
