The Vibrating Fork Level Switch (DMS & DMT series) is the perfect completion of Delta Mobrey's range of level detection solutions. This instrument completes the range of products for the control of level in tank, silos and pump protection. Solid products like grains or aggregate can be controlled with the Vibrating Rod (VLS), and the application can be expanded to granules and powders with the Vibrating Fork series.

The same is also available for the controls of liquids, in combination with the Ultrasonic series 003 and all the mechanical float types.

The vibrating forks are energized and kept in resonance by an electronic circuit. When covered by material, the damping of the vibration is detected by the electronics, which switch the output relay after a configurable time delay. The vibrating fork level switch is the perfect solution for single point level switching in free flowing solids and liquids across a wide density range, covering all the needs from industrial applications to the compactness requirements typical of the applications on machines.

Rotating Paddle Level Switch – PLS Series

The paddle switch may be used as either a high or low level limit switch. It is easily mounted from above, or through a vessel wall. A small electric motor drives a paddle which rotates freely in the absence of material. When the paddle is impeded by the presence of material, a microswitch actuates an alarm signal. As soon as the paddle is completely stopped from rotating, power to the motor is cut, thereby extending motor life. After the material level falls, the motor is returned to its normal position and the paddle begins to rotate again.

Failsafe models use a microcontroller for self-validating diagnostics and monitor both motor and shaft rotation to detect and indicate a fault condition on the fault relay.

The PLS Series of switches can be used with granular, pelletized, and powdered dry products. They may be used in high level applications with materials over 160 kg/m3 and low or intermediate applications with materials over 80 kg/m3.

131 Flow Switch – Performance Series

The 131 Flow Switch is suitable for setpoints between 2.5 m/s and 12.5 m/s, with a maximum flow rate up to 17.5 m/s. Its main application is to detect air flow in HVAC systems located in harsh environments and/or hazardous areas. The sensing element is a freely pivoted, counter-weighted vane which at it’s rest position lies at right angles to the direction of flow. The action of the flow is to pivot the vane and operate a microswitch via a dustproof seal. The sensing element is also available in noble materials to withstand NACE applications.

201 Pressure Switch – Performance Series

Initially designed in the mid-70s and developed over subsequent years. the Performance Series range of pressure switches offers the broadest range of options, the highest levels of set-point repeatability all combined with the long-term performance and confidence of a well-established product.

Performance Series models 201/202/203/281 utilise a bellows type sensor that offers a very linear response to pressure change. This sensor, coupled with a precision stainless steel mechanism, designed to minimise friction in the moving parts, helps deliver the market leading performance customers have come to expect from the series.

This range of pressure switches has been most successful in industries which may have corrosive atmospheres or need products that are resistant to chemical attack, such as the Oil and Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Power and Food.

As part of the Delta Mobrey Performance Series of pressure switches, the 204 model is a diaphragm actuated switch, working with a range of industries that may have corrosive atmospheres or need process instrumentation to be resistant to chemical attack.

The models 204/208/209 Performance Series pressure switches utilise a stainless steel diaphragm based sensor. This, when coupled with a precision stainless steel mechanism, designed to minimise friction in the moving parts, helps deliver the market leading performance customers have come to expect from the Performance Series.
