Improving the customer experience with a custom designed manufacturing site
Creating a production facility with faster customer delivery times, improved customer communication, and streamlined processes is what Delta Mobrey is currently working on. In Q1 2023, Delta Mobrey will move its two UK manufacturing sites into one specifically designed facility based in Camberley, Surrey. The primary objective being improving workflow across all areas to deliver an improved customer experience. This new premises is currently being designed to develop collaboration between the offices and production facilities, making all departments efficient and streamlined. With the customised and improved layout of the facility, Delta Mobrey believes it can offer customers faster production times, clearer communication channels and an even greater level of customer service. The new working environment smooths all lines of communication, allowing for faster decision making, improve workflows and simplify administrative processes.
This centralised hub is the first opportunity for all the UK Delta Mobrey staff to work from the same premises since the adoption of the Mobrey brand in 2019. By having their workforce on the one site, Delta Mobrey will leverage all skills, experience, and expertise whilst continuing to build not just a highly skilled workforce, but a highly skilled team.
“Collaboration and teamwork are always positives for staff,” commented Ray Harrison, Managing Director of Delta Mobrey. “And ultimately it will be beneficial for our customers too, as improved working processes ensure we offer improved customer interactions and order fulfilment. We aim to reduce lead times and provide customer critical information faster and with greater levels of accuracy. I am looking forward to having us all in one site, bringing together all our company skills and develop a creative and collaborative culture which benefits both our customers and staff. The move involves a lot of planning to ensure customer orders are not affected. A dedicated project team has been set up to schedule the movement of factory equipment in-line with production demands.”
The move will be completed in Q1 of 2023. Click here to download our letter regarding the move to the Camberley office.
